We selected the date a little over a week in advance.
The days leading up to our session were filled with rain and cooler, damp weather.
It felt as though Spring had come and gone within a week's time.
Knowing that most of our session was to be shot outdoors,
I hoped for the best.
~24 hours to go~
I checked my Weather App hoping for rays of sunshine the following day.
No such luck!
Rather, the forecast read, Don't even think about an outdoor session tomorrow.
Rain fell by the buckets the following morning into the afternoon.
All along, Julia stood firm that the session was going to be perfect.
Her conviction unfaltering.
And Then it Happened, as if Julia had known all along
The rain stopped.
The sun shone bright.
And the sky returned to blue.
...Until 30 minutes after our session, as if the storm was on hold for us.
Not According to Julia and Karolee.
Two wonderful women, with infectious smiles, warm hearts and
A Call to Heal.
Which in fact, is the name of their new radio show that will air shortly.
I look forward to tuning in!
